You’ve learned that your Vietnamese police check need to be legalized before submitting?
You don’t know how and where to legalize it?
Here are some information about the process:
+ You need to first certified translated your Vietnamese police check from Vietnamese to required language. This could take 1 or 2-3 days depend on where do you process.
+ Then you need to legalize the documents at Consular Department – Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs at 40 Tran Phu, Ba Dinh, Hanoi. The process takes around 1 week.
Here is information about requested documents.
You need to legalize both the original Vietnamese police check and the certified translation.
This step is for your documents to be accepted to use outside of Vietnam.
+ Then you need to legalize your documents at respective Embassy/Consulate. For example: if you need Spanish student visa, then apply at Spanish embassy. The process takes around 1 week.
You need to legalize both the original Vietnamese police check and the certified translation.
This step is for your documents to be accepted to use at respective country (for example, Spain).
At this point, the process is done, and you would receive the stamps at the back of the documents as attached photo. (Left: stamp of Spanish embassy. Right: stamp of Vietnam Consular Department)

Note:
- In my experiences, most of the time your Vietnamese police check don’t need to be legalized, only a certified translation will work. The cases need to be legalized are, for example, to apply for long-term Schengen visa or Spanish student visa.
