You plan to work in China soon and you need to apply and legalize your Vietnam police check to submit to Chinese authority?

We would share with you some information and steps as follow:
1) Legalization at Vietnam Consular Department
Before legalize your document via Chinese embassy in Vietnam, it need to be legalized via Consular Department – Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs. You can read about it here.
It’s mandatory before legalizing at Chinese Embassy.

+ If you want to legalize the translation of your document, then the translation need to be certified translated via a Justice Division.
2) Process at Chinese embassy:
* Address and opening time:
The Consular Department of Chinese Embassy is at 44 Hoang Dieu street, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi.
Opening time: 8.30am – 11am business days to receive requests and documents.
2.30pm – 4.30pm business days to return documents and receive payment.
* Documents to bring:
+ Your original passport and residence card (if any) and their photocopies. If you don’t have residence card, then photocopy of your valid Vietnam visa.
+ If you are coming to China for a job, then print out your signed scanned contract with your future employer.
+ Filled up Application Form of Consular Legalization of the Embassy/Consulate of the People’s Republic of China
+ Due to Covid pandemic, Chinese embassy requests everyone to wear masks before entering, so remember to bring your mask.
* At Chinese embassy:
+ Security will request you to wear mask before entering, and he would check your temperature on your forehead.
+ You would get a ticket to wait.
+ When it’s your turn, submit all documents. If your application is accepted, you will be given a Pickup Form with the date you can pick up and the amount you need to pay. For regular service it takes 4 business days.
Remember that you only can apply in morning time, and pick up in the afternoon time (4 business days later), and you need to make payment in cash in USD. You can’t make payment by VND or by card. Bring the pick up form with you and you can authorize someone to pick up for you by an authorization letter.
